Cinfores proudly hosted a highly impactful Girls in ICT Day 2026, bringing together brilliant minds to inspire and empower the next generation of female digital leaders.
With the theme “She Codes; Her Future, moderated”, the virtual event created a vibrant platform where young girls gained valuable insights into opportunities within the ICT space, career pathways, and practical steps to thrive in today’s digital world. Miss Winnie moderator this beautiful session.

Our distinguished panelists (Miss Anita, Miss Divine, Miss Chidalu, and Miss Syntyche) shared powerful stories of their journeys into technology, challenges they overcame as women in tech, and the most in-demand digital skills girls should begin exploring today.

Discussions also highlighted remote work opportunities, personal branding, confidence building, and breaking cultural and systemic barriers that limit girls’ participation in ICT.
Participants actively engaged through live questions and discussions, making the session interactive, inspiring, and solution-driven.

As part of the close-out, attendees were encouraged to move from conversation to action and explore opportunities such as the CIA Programme in Rivers State University for girls in Port Harcourt, designed to further strengthen girls’ participation in technology and innovation.
